From October 17th to 18th, during Nankai University’s 96th anniversary of the foundation, Nankai University, the Canadian University of Alberta and the Central Research Institute of Culture and Historyjointly organized a series of activities to celebrate “Professor Yeh’s 70th Teaching Anniversary”. On the morning of October 18th, more than 120 representatives from China and abroad gathered at Nankai University to take part in the “Symposium on Professor Yeh’s Thought on Teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry” and discuss. Nankai University’s President GONG Ke attended and presided over the opening of the symposium. The famous experts on Chinese classical poetry Professor Yeh Chia-ying, who is also the Director of Nankai University’s Institute for Chinese Classical Culture, attended the ceremony.
